Ok, I’m sick of seeing shitty, complicated, NON-working explanations of how to get this going on your DSTT.
Here you will find everything you need to have it up and running in no time. As you may know Nintendo have tried to copy protect this game and it’s causing some older cards to freeze on a white screen.
This ONLY works with the #4256 European release, as seen here: (i am not affiliated with the following site, i am not responsible for any content on the site, it is purely here for informational purposes.)

Once you have this release;
Download the DSTT unofficial Kernal v1.17a07
(rapidshare will delete this file after 10 downloads or 90 days, i’ll find somewhere better to host it ad hopefully nobody will go without. OR you could google the file)
Download this patch for the game
What to do:
- Extract all the files from the archives you just downloaded. (this is just to have them ready)
- Place the Mario and Luigi .nds file (called “xpa-male.nds” DO NOT RENAME IT) in the TheK-FIX-EUR folder (hence put it in the same folder as xdelta.exe, xpa-male.bat and xpa-male.patch)
- Run xpa-male.bat (this will create a new .nds file called “xpa-male-fix.nds” it will be about 92,627kb)
- You can rename “xpa-male-fix.nds” whatever you want to see it as in your games list.
- Add the new nds file to your games folder. (or wherever you keep your games on your DSTT mem card)
- Backup your memory card (the one you use in your DSTT) to your PC.
- Replace the TTMenu (folder) and TTMENU.DAT files in your memory card’s root directory with the ones from the DSTT unofficial Kernal v1.17a07 rar (the rar you downloaded was called dsm0053.rar)
- Stick it in your DS and PLAYYYY
